wild one

is a demo of a song we’re working on for our next album! Cody calls it the chore song. I’m really excited about this next album. Half we already recorded at ARC this past fall. We have been rehearsing the rest of the songs/reworking them as a full band and are hopefully going to be recording those in the spring!

I don’t even know what to say about the last post I posted. No, I did not complete my goals in that week and have not since completed them. I cleaned most of my closets, though. Most of my reading has been for school, and I barely have time for a little NYT or New Yorker skimming, let alone full novels or  punk rock histories. I have been reading amazing books and essays for school, though. I did not learn any new songs on guitar except ones I’m writing. I did, however, buy a custom built fake Big Muff that is almost as cool as a real one. Me and Ellen also played a song on a psychic radio show. Um…I didn’t write a sestina yet, but I did start a blog with one Lindsay Trapnell where we post a picture and poem a day. Sometimes we miss days but most days we do it. So I have been writing a lot. Also a lot of essays on the myth of the american frontier, androcentricity, and personal essays/memoirs.

And we were mentioned on Autostraddle! 

That’s about all of the news I have right now.
